Dream Ride

Thanks to Bigfoot, many of us grew up dreaming of driving a massive monster truck. And yet, very few of us will ever realize that dream. But if you're serious about crushing some cars or maybe even doing some stunts, this '08 Ford Super Duty monster truck we spotted over at Motorsport Auction Group could very well make those dreams come true.

Into Overtime

This F-250 is, in fact, a real monster truck, not just some massively lifted pickup. It even has a name - Overtime, which suggests that this bad boy keeps on performing past your typical regulation period.

Full Custom

Heck, the Super Duty didn't even start life as a stock, complete truck. The builder sourced the body separately and then fitted it to a completely custom chassis and suspension.

Strong and Nimble

Like pretty much all monster trucks, this one's also got four-wheel steering to make it easy to drive in tight spots. Incredibly strong five-ton Rockwell axles are sure to hold up to plenty of abuse, too.

Snake Charmer

Under the massive hood, you'll find plenty of power to get those massive tires turning thanks to a 5.4-liter supercharged V8 lifted from a Shelby GT500. According to the seller, the fortified mill produces over 600 horsepower.

Acceleration Over Cruising

Backing up that blown mill is a Powerglide 2-speed transmission, a popular choice on the drag strip. Since this big truck favors acceleration over highway cruising, two gears are all you really need.

Exotic Suspension

Underneath the big rig, you'll find nitrogen-charged adjustable shocks in both the front and rear. The driver can switch between two and four-wheel drive, and there are full lockers at both ends fitted with 1026 gears.

Surprising Amenities

Despite being purpose-built, there are a few luxuries present in this F-250. It still has things like air conditioning and heat, a backup camera, and CD player, which is pretty decent for a monster truck.

Pricey Build

Believe it or not, the truck is also covered in a custom paint job, not just some wrap. Couple that with a reported build cost exceeding $180k, and it's probably best if you don't try to win some monster truck freestyle contest in this thing.

Show and Go

No, this killer F-250 is really more for show, even though it's obviously capable of getting the job done in an arena. But that doesn't make us want it any less, now does it?
