Patina... Patina Everywhere...

Nowadays, seeing Patina on a classic car is a quick giveaway that you're looking at a special automobile. That remains true whether a car is being displayed with its original paint and bodywork, or patina is used as a deliberate styling technique. And in this case, the lowered stance and those 10-spoke chrome wheels scream restomod.

F-100 Restomod

What we're looking at here is a 1954 Ford F-100 restomod with plenty of modern power and performance. At first glance, the wheels, the chrome bumpers, headlights and taillights, and the gorgeous wood trim bed make this F-100 stand apart from any other old Ford truck.

Modern Drivability

A look through the photos on the Streetside Classics website will show the super-clean undercarriage. There, you will find what can be described as a Corvette-inspired setup, with independent suspension at all four corners. Stopping power also comes courtesy of power disk brakes.

Clean Interior

Climb onto the cabin and the green and cream bench seat welcomes you. The interior is kept original for the most part. But a few modern upgrades give the F-100 significantly more drivability. The most prominent of such features is the new R134a air conditioning unit that is mounted cleanly under the dashboard.

429 Under the Hood

Under the hood of this beast is where you will find the big block 429 V8 Ford motor. The mill is equipped with Holly Sniper electronic fuel injector and an Edelbrock high-rise RPM performer intake and Sanderson wrapped headers. The F-100 is built to put the power down to the wheel reliably.

Sold!

The power is put down to those 20-inch wheels via a C6 three-speed automatic transmission. The F-100 was recently sold on Streetside Classics. It was listed for $59,995 with less than 8,000 miles on the clock since the rebuild. One of the coolest restomods we've seen recently.
