A Product of Her Environment

Meagan Farough grew up in British Columbia and embraced the cold climate by spending her teenage years in the snow and mudding in 4x4s. After high school, she pursued her love of trucks by not only lifting her personal truck on her own but by modifying others. The year after meeting her husband Blaine, the couple headed south to the SEMA show in Las Vegas. During their stay in Las Vegas, they fell in love with the American truck scene and set out with the goal of returning a year later with a build of their own. Click along to see what the husband and wife team came up with.

She Almost Bought a Chevy!

If not for a required straight-axle conversion, Farough may have ended up with a bow tie emblem on the front of her new project truck. Instead, she made the smart decision and picked up this 2016 F-350 Super Duty from her dealership.

Let the Modifications Begin

In a show of discipline that could only come from a woman, Farough worked from the inside-out of her F-350. She dropped the truck off in Edmonton with Liquid Customs and had them hydro-dip the interior panels. Custom Roadwire leather seats featuring diamond stitched bolsters further dressed up the interior.

Better Call Who?

Better Call Paul installed a custom iPad kit mounted underneath the stock head unit. Both are complemented by a full stereo system consisting of JL Audio component speakers and three 8-inch JL Audio subwoofers which were tucked away underneath the rear seats.

Personalizing the Exterior

In a nod to her Canadian roots, Farough asked ECD Customs to incorporate some of her heritage into a custom wrap. They came up with a design consisting of mountains, trees, and Canadian maple leaf logos. Installation of the wrap was handled by Nopps Wraps in Edmonton.

Jacking Things Up

The Faroughs began work on the F-350's suspension modifications in their own small garage. They tore apart the suspension and axles, cutting off the stock brackets for the coils in the front and the leaf springs in the rear. The husband and wife duo installed PMF coil pots while the axles were being powder coated. FOA polished triple-bypass shocks were installed in the front and FOA coilovers took over in the rear. To show off their hard word underglow strips from Aurora Z Lighting was wired.

Chrome (or Polished) Wheels Aren't Dead

And to prove it, Farough selected 24x14 inch Lift-SS polished wheels. Truespike machined-forged spike lug nuts dress up an otherwise mundane detail of the wheels. Stretched around the massive wheels are 42x14 inch Interco Sniper mud-terrain tires.

What Emissions?

Canada must have some pretty lenient emissions requirements because the Faroughs ripped out the EGR and the CCV. They installed a new intake system, 5-inch ceramic coated MBRP straight-pipe exhaust, and a PPEI EZLynk tuning system. The truck was re-geared to 4:88 Yukon gears and now utilizes ATS differential covers.

Edmonton, We Have a Problem

After installing a 17-inch Stryker four-link lift kit the Faroughs were ready to unveil their high-riding F-350. Unfortunately, their skyscraper topping truck was now too tall to clear the top of their garage. Creative ingenuity kicked in and they were able to free their Super Duty after deflating the tires. Once outside, Bodyguard bumpers and lights were installed. For good measure, a Limitless Manufacturing snowmobile rack was added to the bed. The cherry on top of this build is a Can-Am Summit 850 snowmobile wearing a matching wrap.
