Where do old show trucks go when SEMA is over? In this case, they go to work hauling other show trucks!

More Than Just a Show Truck

Lifted, big-rimmed, fancy show trucks have a pretty bad reputation around these parts. People call them mall crawlers if they're being nice, and "ruined" if they're not. And sure, they might have a point. Most SEMA trucks, like the one you see here, never actually perform any truck-like duties in their lives. But that's not the case with Extreme Offroad's 2017 Ford F-350, as Austin O’Krinsky recently explained to Truck Trend.

Dual Purpose Hauler

O’Krinsky and crew crank out bigger, better, and more insane trucks for SEMA every year to show what they're capable of doing. But this time, they did things a little different. O’Krinsky wanted to build something he could keep and use to tow 40-foot trailers loaded with other show trucks once this show truck's big day was over. And from what he says, it does a fantastic job, despite its fancy looks. “My favorite thing about the truck is its smooth ride while towing heavy weight with ease,” he told Truck Trend.

Killing Two Birds

Of course, that's what happens when you throw an air ride suspension underneath a big truck like this one. In this case, Extreme went with a Kelderman 2.5-inch setup to give the Super Duty a lift without compromising towing or comfort. And they help bring more attention (as if they needed to) to a set of bright red 24-inch American Force Spec Super Dually wheels wrapped in Pirelli Scorpion ATR tires.

Drop It like It's Hot

Aside from the obvious red accents, the outside of this Super Duty show hauler received other goodies including Fab Four bumpers. Joined by custom headlights, smoked taillights, a Retrax cover, loads of Rigid LED lighting, and AMP Research side steps. And of course, a matching red drop hitch for (gasp!) towing trailers.

Myth Buster

There's also a nifty Warn hitch tucked in there in case O’Krinsky gets a wild hair and decides to take this thing mudding. And while we doubt he'd go to that "Extreme," this wild Super Duty has already busted the myth that a bagged, big-wheeled truck can't haul heavy loads. In fact, it was actually used to transport a bunch of other SEMA trucks to the show last year before it took up space in Kelderman's booth. So don't believe everything you read on the Internet!
