In recent years, heavy-duty Ford trucks have been gaining in terms of collector interest. That's obviously not a bad thing for the most part, because it means that more people are working to save and restore trucks like this gorgeous 1948 F6 that we spotted over in the Hemmings classifieds.

And really, is there anything cooler than a nice old stake bed truck? Though it was probably used to haul stuff on the farm back in its heyday, this F6 now looks like the perfect parade vehicle or weekend car show cruiser.

Like many heavy-duty trucks from this era, this F6 likely never traveled long distances. That's certainly evident from the fact that it only has 53,000 miles showing on the odometer to this day.
