Beautiful '78 Ford F-250 sporting a perfect color combo has us checking our bank account balance.
Perfect Truck?
Ask anybody what their idea of the "perfect" truck is, and the answers you receive will vary greatly. But for us, there certainly aren't many things in life better than a 1978/1979 Ford. Especially when it's painted an iconic color combo like this beautiful blue and white F-250 we spotted for sale over at Motorcar Classics.

Attention Grabber
Add in the fact that this truck is a somewhat rare Super Cab, and it just gets even better. With Ranger XLT trim, this is as the top of the line as it got in the late '70s, too. Wrap it all in Bright Dark Blue Metallic and White paint, and you've certainly got our attention.

Well Maintained
According to the seller, this F-250 remained in the garage of its original owner until 2015. That certainly at least partially explains its stellar condition. The current owner, a dealer, didn't do anything to hurt it either, driving the truck a mere 500 miles since acquiring it from the second owner.

Totally '70s
Even better, there are a number of dealer-added accessories that have been with this F-250 since it was new. That includes the fender flares, push bar, and wind deflector. And all of those goodies just add to this pickup's super cool '70s flair.

Mostly Original
Outside of a recently repainted bed, this F-250 is believed to be in mostly original condition. The Pacer aluminum wheels and BF Goodrich All-Terrain K02 tires obviously aren't original, but they sure look amazing on this vintage pickup.

Gone Camping
'70s pickups sure don't come much more well-optioned than this one, either. It's packed with goodies including power steering and brakes, air conditioning, and the Camper Special package. The latter adds bigger brakes, a bed-mounted battery connection, a bigger radiator, and front and rear sway bars.

Clean Interior
The interior of this F-250 is also quite gorgeous, adorned in a matching blue color. The split-folding bench seat allows access to the rear, where you can stuff more passengers. And all of the faux wood trim is intact and looking great as well.

Low Numbers
One of the previous owners installed a more modern Kenwood stereo at some point, but it certainly doesn't look out of place. Glance at the odometer, and you'll see a mere 27k miles showing. And we don't doubt that number's accuracy one bit given this truck's amazing condition.

Powertrain
The engine bay is relatively clean as well, housing a 400 cubic-inch V8. A column-shifted 3-speed automatic transmission resides behind the engine, driving all four wheels if you so desire via the floor-mounted transfer case shifter.

Dream Garage
As far as '70s Ford trucks go, they just don't get much better than this beauty. We'd be more than happy to have this classic pickup in our garage, obviously. But for now, we can simply leaf through these pictures and dream!
