Bonkers 775HP 2021 Shelby F-150 is Ruthless
Shelby American have put their magic touch into the 2021 Ford F-150, making it a bona-fide super truck.
Shelby F-150
The Shelby brand name needs no introduction. Carrying the name of iconic racing driver and entrepreneur Carroll Shelby, the aftermarket builder has been tuning Ford products for decades. Their current lineup of Shelby Mustangs is perhaps the most extensive it's ever been. And building on the success of those potent snakes, they've decided to expand their product range to include a Shelby F-150.
Starting With a Lariat
And it's just as gnarly, and just as flawlessly-designed as we've come to expect from the Southern California-based company. Shelby American starts the build with an F-150 Lariat donor. From there, the Shelby-designed elements are implemented and the performance upgrades are installed.

Two Engine Options
A couple of powertrain options are available for the F-150 from Shelby. The basic option is the naturally aspirated 5.0 Coyote V8, rated at 395 horsepower. The second option is the same motor equipped with a Whipple supercharger, with a total output of a massive 775 horses.

No Brainer
Fitted with the naturally aspirated engine, the Shelby F-150 has a starting price of $107,080. Going for the higher-end power option raises the price tag up to $114,980. It should really be a no-brainer, though. Less than $8,000 for such a significant increase in grunt seems like a pretty good deal, especially considering the high-performance truck costs over $100K.

More Performance Add-Ons
The Borla exhaust system, high-flow intake, high-flow fuel injectors, custom throttle body, carbon-fiber piping, and extra cooling aid the V8 is achieving the impressive power numbers. The performance upgrades continue with the suspension system, which includes a BDS lift system, Fox internal bypass shocks, and rear traction bars.

Shelby Styling
Of course, the good folks at Shelby American have made sure the truck represents the brand in its styling just as well as it does with the performance. The Shelby F-150 receives visual upgrades on the exterior, consisting of a recognizably Shelby front fascia, hood, and trademark Shelby striping.

600 Units
The classy Shelby touch continues into the cabin as well. The interior receives custom leather upholstery on the seats, as well as Shelby badging all around. Number plaques will also be found on the interior and under the hood, indicating the production number of each of the 600 units that Shelby American plans to build.
