Stunning Bronco, Stunning Price

To us, there just aren't many finer things in life than a second-gen, two-tone Ford Bronco. And if that's your thing too (and we know it is), you won't find many nicer than this stunning '78 that recently crossed the block at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale. Fresh off a full restoration, this Bronco is a proper stunner that also hammered for an equally stunning $63,800 at the auction.

Major Investment

That's obviously a lot of dough for a Bronco of this vintage, but it's also clearly had a lot of time and money invested in making it perfect. The silver and black two-tone paint looks amazing, and virtually everything on the 'ute is new or rebuilt. That includes a 2.5-inch suspension lift and American Racing wheels wrapped with BFGoodrich KO2 A/T tires that give it the perfect stance.

New or Rebuilt

Under the hood, you'll find a brand new Jasper 400 cubic-inch V8 engine surrounded by all-new accessories. It's backed up by a rebuilt C6 3-speed automatic transmission and transfer case, as well as rebuilt front and rear differentials with new 3.50 gears. The engine bay and undercarriage are also highly detailed, far beyond what you'd find on most Broncos of this vintage.

Fresh Interior

The interior of this Bronco is equally pristine, with factory original seats that have been media-blasted, painted, and reupholstered in old school black-and-white houndstooth and black vinyl. The interior also features new carpet, floor mats, headliner, three-point retractable seat belt set, kick panel carpet set, and instrument panel bezel.

Worth the Cost?

Overall, they just don't get much nicer than this '78 Bronco. It's pretty clear that the previous owner spent a lot of time and/or money-making it as perfect as it could be, and the result is a vehicle that's far nicer than it was even when it was new. Whether it's worth the incredible money it brought in at auction, well, that's another story altogether.
