Awesome Ford Powered King of the Hammers Truck
King of the Hammers is an off-road race that mixes desert racing with rock crawling. Check out this Ford truck built to tackle the toughest off-road race on the planet.
1. Bring it On
For the King of the Hammers race, only the absolute capable survive. This Ford Bronco is specifically built to tackle the toughest off-road terrain on the planet.
2. Classically Ready
The classic Bronco is ready for the 165-mile race. The King of the Hammers mixes high-speed desert racing, with extremely challenging rock crawling. The off-road race is an all-day event, putting the trucks and their drivers under extreme stress and challenges.
3. Suspension From Hell
Built by off-road racing specialist Jimmy, the "Brocky" is a custom fiberglass shell, which sits on a tube-frame. The front suspensions are independent, and Brocky features 20-inch of wheel travel, as it sits on 37-inch tires, allowing it to go over almost anything you put in front of it.
4. What Obstacles?
Under the hood of this buggy is a Ford 427 V8 engine, which develops 600-horsepower. The monstrous motor is complemented by a three-speed automatic transmission and the ability to engage both differentials separately.
5. Man's Best Friend
Jimmy's 4x4 Bronco choice is a marketing strategy by Ford because the Bronco is returning soon. This is the perfect time to introduce a beautiful and monstrous build for one of the toughest races in the world.
6. Brocky Aims to Shine
With extremely capable suspensions, a tremendously powerful engine, and a tight, brilliant build, Brocky is ready for the 2017 King of the Hammers off-road race, which will take place on Friday, February 10th, 2017.
7. Ready for War
With this Bronco being a marketing strategy, let's hope Ford introduces the new Bronco with this color choice. The build is absolutely beautiful, and the choice of colors is tasteful. What can stand in the way of this beast?
