Interesting Find
Here at FTE, we're always on the hunt for the best Ford trucks the internet has to offer. So when we came across this amazing '77 F-250 at Mecum Auctions, we knew we had to share it with you. Not just because the truck looks fantastic, mind you, but also because it has a few interesting features worth noting, too.

Re-Bodied
Perhaps the most interesting thing about this pickup is the fact that it's been "re-bodied." We assume that means a donor truck gave it all-new sheet metal, but there are no more specifics provided. Despite this, the truck is also said to have all original paint.

It's a Mystery
That leads us to believe that perhaps another pickup gave this one its body, rather than reproduction panels being added. But who knows? Regardless, the F-250 looks pretty fantastic now. Especially with those narrow and knobby old school tires fitted to what are presumably the original wheels.

Scant Details
Details are otherwise pretty scant for this pickup. Everything is said to work perfectly, so there's that. The interior looks pretty nice, but the pictures provided aren't the best. But we are digging that cool plaid pattern on the bench seat, anyway.

Mystery Mileage
The ad states that this F-250 is believed to have 46,000 original miles, though the odometer clearly states 43,605. Perhaps it was driven some after these pictures were taken. Regardless, if true, either figure is undoubtedly low for a Ford of this vintage. And even if it has rolled over, that wouldn't scare us away.

Looks Good
Otherwise, this is a clean-looking pickup - inside and out, on top and underneath. The engine bay is in pretty good shape visually, as is the undercarriage. But we'd undoubtedly like to have a closer look before plunking down the cash on this cool old Ford.

Seeking Details
We wouldn't be surprised to see more details added to this listing ahead of the truck's appearance at Mecum's Davenport auction on March 25-28, but perhaps we won't. Regardless, with no reserve, somebody's probably going to take it home, no matter what mysteries it holds!
