Rock Bottom

In the world of classic automobiles, few names hold as much reverence as the 1972 Ford Bronco. Acquired in 2017 by its last owner, this vintage icon underwent a remarkable transformation in 2023, courtesy of the skilled craftsmen at Rock Bottom Offroad in Lake Elsinore, California. The result is a breathtaking restomod that marries the nostalgia of the past with the technology of today.

Modern Revival

The restoration process involved a comprehensive overhaul. The body and chassis received a vibrant new coat of blue paint, contrasting sharply with a gray-finished grille. Bold design elements such as black removable hardtop, Rock Bottom front and rear bumpers, and bolt-on fender extensions added a rugged edge, true to the Bronco's heritage.

Lifted Stance

One of the most striking features of this Bronco is its lifted stance, thanks to a four-link front suspension and triangulated four-link rear suspension. It's fitted with imposing 17" KMC Grenade Beadlock wheels wrapped in 37x12.5" Milestar Patagonia MT2 tires, ensuring it's ready to conquer any terrain. Fox coilovers with remote reservoirs at all four corners and a Hydroboost power brake system with discs provide superior handling and stopping power.

Distressed Leather For Days

Inside, the transformation continues. Brown distressed leather upholstery covers bolstered front bucket seats, and a removable rear bench, and extends to the dashboard, center console, door panels, and rear cargo panels. Modern amenities abound, including Restomod Air climate control, an Alpine touchscreen infotainment system, and a rearview mirror camera. An amplified JL Audio subwoofer promises an immersive sound experience.

Elevated Performance Upgrades

Under the hood lies the heart of this Bronco - a 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine linked to a 6R80 six-speed automatic transmission, an Atlas dual-range transfer case, and Currie axles with Eaton locking differentials. Performance enthusiasts will appreciate the silver air intake tube, conical air filter, and body-color engine cover. Keeping things cool is a Ron Davis aluminum radiator with dual electric fans.

Additional Goodies

Safety enhancements include a prefabricated Rock Bottom frame, an Antilock sway bar, and a custom roll cage, ensuring the Bronco is well-prepared for off-road adventures. LED lighting elements adorn the vehicle, from the headlights to the taillights.

Bring a Trailer

Listed on Bring a Trailer, this meticulously crafted Bronco has garnered significant attention, with an impressive highest bid of $240,000. That's ICON Bronco territory. And for this awesome creation, we'd venture to guess it's the right price!
