1. Step2 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor

With the 2-in-1 Raptor from Step2, you can get your kids into a Ford Truck before they are old enough to walk. Open the door and plop them in the seat, then push them around the neighborhood. As they get older you can take out the floor, remove the handle and let them scoot themselves around. There are LED lights upfront, just like on the real truck, and a bed with cup holders for mom, dad, or their own sippy cup. These can be found online for about $100.

2. Fisher-Price F-250 Super Duty

Is your kid too tough for a little F-150? Luckily, Fisher-Price makes a ride-on F-250 Super Duty for kids who have heavier towing and hauling needs. Still just push powered, this one also features lights and the added bonus of realistic motor noises when you press the button. This one may be a little hard to find though, as Fisher-Price lists it as discontinued, but various online retailers still have it listed for sale.

3. Wooden Rocking Truck

If you search for a rocking truck online, this red one is what pops up. The shape is a generic pickup truck and could be anything from a 1957 to a 1966, or it might not be a Ford at all. If you are a handy fellow, making a copy of any of the slab-sided, boxy trucks from the late 1950s up to the modern day wouldn't be hard at all, and you could paint it to match the one in your driveway.

4. Electric Remote Control Ride-On Ford Ranger

The United States still doesn't get the Ford Ranger here (any day now, Ford), but it is quite popular all over the rest of the world. In Europe you can get this nifty, remote controlled children's ride-on tow, which also features working lights and an MP3 player stereo system. Perhaps you can convince an online seller to ship you one from the UK? They are listed on eBay and other retailers if you do a Google search.

5. My First Craftsman F-150 Power Wheels

If you have the kind of kid that loves tools and taking things apart, as well as trucks, why not combine the two with the Power Wheels My First Craftsman F-150 ride-on. It features a 6V rechargeable battery for speeds up to 3.5 mph and kids weighing up to 65 lbs. It is recommended for those from the ages of 3-5 years old. As you would expect, you can get it from Sears or Kmart for about $200.

6. Power Wheels Ford Lil' F-150

Pretty much the same truck as the Craftsman version, these three different variations of the Lil' F-150 from Power Wheels are great for small kids. Choose from the understated silver version or the bright yellow, red, black and lightning bolt "off road" versions, depending on their favorite color. None of them are really suited for off road, but should do just fine in a manicured yard.

7. Power Wheels Ford F-150

For slightly bigger kids, Power Wheels makes a bigger F150 with twice the power. The 12V, two-seater F-150 has speeds up to 5 mph and can carry up to 130 lbs. There are slight variations out there, with some featuring an FM radio with auxiliary input jack, and other featuring realist truck sound effects. Power Wheels claims this toy has a "Monster Traction System" for use on rougher terrain without getting stuck.

8. Power Wheels Extreme Sport F-150

Ford and Power Wheels have a long relationship. Slightly more off-road capable than the other F-150 models is the Power Wheels F-150 Extreme Sport with bigger, more aggressive tires and even a lift kit. Think of this as the Power Wheels version of a Raptor. This toy has an FM radio, MP3 player input, sound effects and lights!
