8 Ford Trucks and The Celebrities That Love Them
Not every one of the rich and famous gets driven around in a limo with gold plated trim, there are some of them that like rough and rugged trucks from Ford.
1. George W. Bush and his 2014 F-150 King Ranch
If I have learned anything from People Magazine it is that celebrities are just like us! They wear sweat pants! They eat fast food! And some of them even drive Ford trucks! No matter if it is because they like the anonymity of being in the best selling line of trucks in the country when other attention seeking celebs are cruising in Lamborghinis, or if they just need the space inside an Excursion for their entourage, some people who can afford anything prefer the blue oval.
If you are the president of the U.S. or even a former president, it just won't do to be seen driving a Toyota, or Mercedes, so they all prefer cars from the big three. As a former Texas oil man, and currently retired Texas ranch owner, it is only fitting that W drives the top of the line Ford F-150. As the president that people voted they would most like to share a beer with, an F-150 fits his image perfectly.
2. Rick Dale (American Restorations) and his 51 F-100
Rick Dale, the star of American Restorations and owner of Rick's Restorations, is a very lucky man. He has a job many of us would love (restoring man-tiques), drives a sweet classic F-100 pickup, and is married to a smoking hot wife. Rick and Kelley also seem to avoid the manufactured drama and controversy that are part of most reality shows too.
3. Simon Cowell and his 1970 Ford Bronco
Simon Cowell is famously abusive, and hard to please, but he seems to be happy behind the wheel of his classic Ford Bronco. No, he isn't 87 years old, his friends were just trying to get a rise out of him on his birthday.
4. Colin Farrell and his 1990s Ford Bronco
Most ladies would describe Colin Farrell as ruggedly handsome, and most men would say the same thing about the second generation Ford Bronco. You might expect the Irishman to prefer something like a Land Rover, but perhaps he prefers a truck that doesn't break down every few weeks.
5. Shia Labeouf and his 2008 Ford F-150
Sure, I would also prefer to look at fellow F-150 owner Angelina Jolie, but no one has been able to get a picture of her getting in/out of it. Instead, here is Shia Labeouf not only with his truck but giving it a good wash at the self-service car wash. What? Does his mansion in Beverly Hills not have a hose spigot near the garage?
6. Kristen Stewart and her 2014 Ford Edge
Kristen famously fell in love with a vampire in Twilight, and she has been seen driving around a vampire worthy all black Edge, with dark tinted windows. The photo on the left is from a recent video shoot she did in which she got to drive a classic Mustang to a Rolling Stones soundtrack.
7. Selena Gomez and her First Gen Ford Escape
For some reason, photographers keep catching Selena Gomez filling up her Ford Escape at the same gas station in L.A. Maybe if she had bought the hybrid version she wouldn't have to stop so often?
8. Scott Eastwood and his 2016 F-150
In Grand Torino, his dad drove both the titular car, and a pretty sweet F-100 pickup truck, but Scott Eastwood (model, actor, director) prefers a new F-150 to get him around while in L.A. and to the beach. Rumors are he also owns a Ford GT when he feels the need to get faster and more furious.
