Strange Wraps

Getting a custom wrap done to your Ford truck is a unique way to set it apart, and many owners with their own businesses take advantage of the advertising space. Some choose subtle matte wraps while others go all out by adding custom designs and popular characters. While most wraps turn out looking great, there are some strangely wrapped Ford trucks on the Internet. Here are some that caught my attention.

Apocalypse Now

I'll give it some points for detail, but this wrap is more "Apocalypse No." There's way too much going on, and definitely too much sheet metal for comfort. All in all, this design could've been thought out better.

Car Cover Overkill

At first glance it appears this truck is melting, but it's actually an illusion caused by its perplexing fabric cover. Okay, technically, this isn't a wrap, but it my as well be considering it coats every square inch of the exterior and doesn't look like your run-of-the-mill cover. I'm surprised the wheels aren't outfitted. Was this some sort of attempt to cover up an unreleased model?

Death is a Hunter

This tailgate wrap is the stuff of nightmares. We've got death personified as a hunter in the woods with a technologically advanced bow and arrow. This is the ultimate way to deter drivers with a tendency to tailgate.

Something's Fishy

This wrap is oddly realistic; from afar it actually looks like someone's driving a giant bass on wheels and the color detail is there. If wrapping the front windows wasn't illegal, we would've gotten the full blown effect.

Kidnap Wrap

Okay, this isn't an F-150 or Super Duty, but this wrap is too disturbing to leave off this list. This design takes the prize for "creepiest tailgate wrap ever." I'm hoping the owner of this truck just wants to mess with people, rather than this being a homage to kidnapping memories. One thing's for sure: he won't be picking any dates up in this truck. Thanks to the license plate for letting me know to avoid western Australia.
