5 Cars You Would Have Bought If You Didn't Buy a Ford Truck
You most likely took a look at trucks from these other brands before going with the best. No worries, Chevy is not on this list.
1. Chrysler/Ram
Since Chrysler doesn't offer trucks in its line, Ford truck owners must have taken a look at Fiat Chrysler Automobile's Ram. This is of course if these potential buyers were looking for a truck and not, say, a sedan. Since 2009, Ram became a stand-alone brand, as Chrysler separated it from Dodge.
The Ram 1500 has won awards such as Wards 10 Best Engines and Four Wheeler Pickup Truck of the Year. These are potential reasons why the Ram 1500 might be under consideration.

2. Nissan
Could the Nissan Titan have been on your list? The Titan can tow up to 9,390 pounds and comes in a crew cab, with the king cab arriving in 2017. Nissan's Titan has a 5.6-liter V8 with a torque of 394 lb/ft.

3. Hyundai
If anyone was considering purchasing a Hyundai, it must have been for anything other than a truck. Although, it was revealed that the concept Santa Cruz pickup truck, revealed in 2015, will, in fact, go on sale in 2018. The concept truck had a 2.0-liter diesel engine and featured a bed that can slide out for more space. Yet, it is unclear if the truck will offer that once it is out. It seems future Ford buyers will have another truck on their list to consider before making a direct beeline to Ford.

4. GMC
Many, many options for a truck are available within GMC. GMC's Canyon and Sierra (Denali version) both have made Forbe's Top 10 Trucks of 2016. It is safe to say that either of these two might have caught your eye before Ford stole your heart. If towing capabilities are your main concern, the Canyon can tow up to 7,000 lbs and the Sierras between 12,000 to 22,900 lbs.

5. Mitsubishi/Fuso
If you found yourself looking at Mitsubishi, it was either to buy a regular non-truck vehicle or a commercial truck. Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America has plenty of options and the FE160 Crew Cab allows for seven passengers with enough space behind for equipment. There is no doubt the Ford commercial truck won you over if that is what you were searching for of course.
