Lap of Luxury

Pickup truck aficionados who don’t want to sacrifice acceleration for luxury and passenger room have the best of both worlds in the 2019 Ford F-150 Limited. When the Ford Raptor debuted in 2010, it was presumed it would take the mantle and run as Ford’s swiftest pickup, catering to both speedsters and off-road fans in one fell swoop. That presumption is well out the window now, as the 2019 Ford F-150 now stands as the fastest truck in the Ford lineup, having inherited the Raptor’s more powerful 450-hp, 510-lb-ft twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6.

The 2019 F-150 Limited’s feature-rich cabin is lauded by critics as being far more luxury-coupe than pickup truck. The truck's luxury car-like features include artful ambient lighting, an 8" productivity screen, lane-keeping technology and "Intelligent Access" with push-button start technology. Ford's motivation is two-fold: giving consumers truck capability, cargo room, and power without sacrificing on the technological features and speed normally reserved for luxury cars. The unique combination is particularly interesting given Ford's decision to stop production on all but two cars in 2019 to sharpen their focus on truck and SUV development.

Creature Comfort; Monster Power

Whether you’re hauling materials or your watercraft, the F-150 Limited offers an entirely different experience, since the truck’s interior space is difficult to distinguish from that of a luxury sedan. From the black leather-wrapped steering wheel to the Bang & Olufsen sound system, finer touches abound.

Impress Clients; Comfort Family

The traditional "cramped" passenger space so customary in mid-sized pickups is nowhere to be found in F-150 Limited, thanks in large part to a spacious twin-panel moonroof that provides expansive access to the sky for all four passengers —keeping right in line with the truck's sedan-like interior.

The truck's high-output 3.5L V6 EcoBoost engine has been implemented with Ford's port-field and direct-injection (PFDI) system with two injectors per cylinder —one in the air intake port and the other inside the cylinder itself. Ford's PFDI system works in concert with twin intercooler turbos, providing drivers with instant acceleration power, all but eliminating lag. At 5.1 seconds to hit 60 mph, the F-150 Limited ranks among one of the fastest pickup trucks ever produced.

Daily Driver or Weekend Hauler

Those who have been told in the past that a pickup truck seats four comfortably, only to be crammed into a glorified bench seat can put those bad memories behind them. The F-150 Limited's expansive cabin features two-tone leather interior and newly-redesigned, ventilated seats in front. The spacious rear-seating area offers ample legroom and easy in and out access that's convenient for passengers of all ages. It’s all a part of Ford’s ambition to retire the phrase “Let’s take the car instead,” while the pickup truck stays in the driveway.

Head of the Class

The F-150 Limited’s stylish flair extends to its exterior, where, despite the punch of the engine, contemporary style abounds. Wheel lip moldings and optional power-deployable running boards, satin finish surrounds and silver inserts exude class. The truck’s satin chrome door and tailgate handles with body color bezel elegant disguise the thunder under the truck’s hood, offering further proof that the 2019 Limited is geared specifically for what today’s drivers want: truck-oriented cargo capability with ample, comfortable space for passengers without sacrificing the zip that allows the vehicle to double as a daily commuter for professionals and families alike.
