Soft Spot

It wasn't all that long ago when the most luxurious thing you could buy was a Ford sporting the Eddie Bauer badge. And though they pale in comparison to today's super-luxurious trucks, we have a real soft spot for this gorgeous 1988 Bronco Eddie Bauer we spotted over at RK Motors.

Time Machine

We couldn't possibly pick a better color combo than Alpine Green and Chestnut, either. Together with an ultra-low 28,125 miles on the clock, this Bronco is more like a time machine than an SUV.

Cloth Covered Comfort

On the inside, you'll feel right at home awash in Eddie Bauer-spec cloth that covers virtually every surface. This was as comfy as it got back in this Bronco's day, and we'd love to hop in and bring back those memories.

Rock Solid

The engine bay of this beauty is equally sanitary, with a brand new looking 351 V8 taking up space. It's backed up by a C6 automatic transmission and 8.8-inch rear end with 3.55 gears to create a rock-solid drivetrain.

No Cargo

Pop the tailgate open, and you'll find that it doesn't look like anything's ever been hauled back here. Nor is there any sign of water damage from any accidental rainstorms when you leave the top off.

Loads of Goodies

Aside from the interior cloth, Eddie Bauer Broncos came with cool badges, burlap trim, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and all the power goodies and amenities available.

Land-Based Cruiser

And looking at the inside of this Bronco, it's easy to see that the previous owner(s) never took this thing off-road or did any serious exploring in it. No, it was more of a land-based cruiser, for sure.

Quintessential Ride

Throw in a plethora of chrome trim, and you've got the quintessential luxury vehicle of the '80s and '90s. And we wouldn't have it any other way.

One Caveat

There's just one tiny problem with this amazing find, however. The asking price is set pretty high at $49,900. The question then becomes whether nostalgia is going to motivate us to cough up that kind of cash to relive the glory days.

Stop and Stare

But for now, we'll just settle for the warm and fuzzy feelings we get simply staring at this beautiful Bronco. And we hope that it eventually gets bought by someone who will appreciate it as much as we would!
