1961 Ford F-100 Is Pure Flawless Perfection
Daily Slideshow: If you're into the kind of trucks that make your jaw immediately hit the floor, you're gonna want to see this stunning F-100.
Different Kind of Nice
There are plenty of nice old Ford trucks out there in the world. The kind that you wouldn't mind driving to any local show, cars, and coffee, or cruise night. But there are nice trucks and then there are nice trucks. And you can probably figure out which category this gorgeous 1961 Ford F-100, up for grabs at Barrett-Jackson's Scottsdale showroom, belongs in.
Not a Model
Heck, this thing's so clean, you might think that you're looking at pictures of a model - not an actual truck. But this pickup is, in fact, the real deal. It's also as nice a unibody Ford as we've ever seen, and that's saying a lot.

No Stone Unturned
Also unlike many trucks, we come across, that level of perfection is present no matter where you look. Lift the hood, and you'll find a stunningly correct engine bay packing the original 292 cubic-inch V8. Everything, from the hose clamps to the battery, is period-correct.

Factory Fresh
Open the door, and you'll likewise find a completely factory fresh interior with all reupholstered surfaces. All the factory switches and knobs are in place and in perfect condition, including little details like the cigarette lighter.

Perfection in Paint
This gorgeous F-100 also sports perhaps the ultimate color combo - Academy Blue and Corinthian White. Those beautiful hues perfectly accent the unique lines of this unibody pickup, which only adds to its appeal.

Tying It All Together
Of course, doing a paint job of this quality only makes less-than-perfect trim look even worse. So all of the chrome has also been replaced with fresh shiny pieces to complete the look.

Keepin' It Classy
Of course, it would be silly to do all of that and then throw on a set of modern, aftermarket wheels, paper-thin low-profile tires, or some other atrocity. So the builder thankfully stuck with what works - the original steelies with center caps and Firestone wide whitewall tires.

Take Our Word for It
The seller also notes that the undercarriage has been treated to the same level of detail as the rest of the truck, though we don't have any pictures of that. But as nice as this F-100 really is, who are we to doubt them?

Simply Irresistible
If ever there was a no-expense-spared, nut-and-bolt restoration worth ogling over, this is it. And even though collectors don't seem to truly appreciate the uniqueness that was the failed unibody Ford truck experiment, it's hard to imagine that anyone would turn this beauty away!
