1952 1,000HP 552ci F-1
Frank Dill just had to have this '52 Ford and boy did he make something beautiful out of it.
Frank Dill's Obsession
Frank Dill of Worton, Maryland is the proud owner of this sweet 1,000 hp 552 Ford F-1. His is another classic tale of how an admirer became an owner. But his love affair with vehicles began long before he picked up the '52 Ford. When Dill was only in the ninth grade he bought his very first car from a family member, a '65 Pontiac GTO. His love for automobiles blossomed and he spent much of his time at the local drag ways and even undertook a full restoration of two big-block C2 Corvettes reports Motor Trend.

As Fate Would Have It
But it wasn't until he was older, that the true love of his life entered in: a yellow 1952 Ford F-1 pickup. This F-1 was built to the max with a supercharged big-block V-8 and a slammed stance. Dill had to know more. After passing a garage and noticing the pickup, he made sure to run in and inquire. Not long after, he was the owner.

Furthermore, the F-1 houses custom iron heads, a BDS intake, Speedway Motors intake trumpets, and twin Holley 950-cfm carbs. But the best part... a beefy 8-71 supercharger.

A Beauty and a Beast
The body is bathed in Glasurit Inferno Red Pearl and accentuated by pale gold ghost flames which are just barely visible up close. In the back, beautiful wood trim accents the bed. But, even cooler is the electronically-controlled tilt front-end which was entirely custom-built using a steel nose and fiberglass hood. One thing is certain, this is one wicked ride.
