10 Fords in Easter Egg and Candy Colors
Easter is just around the corner. Here's a selection of Ford paint jobs in candy colors and Easter egg hues.
1. Pink Ford Ka
The Ka was a nice subcompact entry in the Ford catalog that never made it to the USA. Even in Europe where it sold well, it's fairly rare to see one painted like this. The Ford Ka may already look like an egg, but this model's choice of paint would make it right at home in an Easter decoration.
2. Cosmic Blue Australian Ford Fairlane
A vintage model deserves an interesting color of paint. This much was afforded to this classic Ford Fairlane from down under, which is a body style we didn't get. The blue is bright like an Easter egg, but the white vinyl roof calm it down enough to get approval from the most somber automotive fans. Why can't modern cars look as good as this average sedan from 40 year ago? Why can't they at least get these cool paint options?
3. Tangerine Scream Ford Focus ST
"Tangerine Scream" is the name of this popping color of paint. The Ford Focus ST is a pretty eye-catching model to begin with, but it is impossible to ignore in this shade. While some people don't appreciate bold colors for cars like this one, there's no doubt that this one looks a lot like a plastic Easter egg full of treats.
4. Lime Green Ford Focus
Bright lime green is usually a pretty odd choice of paint for a car, but it is very similar to the fake plastic Easter grass you always find in the baskets. Nonetheless, it's a surprisingly popular color to jazz up an otherwise uninteresting economy car. This particular one seems to have all the sporty bells and whistles, so it may even be fun to drive.
5. Bright Green Custom Ford GT
This Ford GT "Geiger" was so-named by the German tuning company that custom modded it. With a ferociously enhanced engine under the hood, the bright green really isn't needed to catch your attention. It's rare that an Easter egg could roll this fast down a freeway.
6. Lemon Yellow Ford Mustang
There are few lovelier sights than a vintage Ford Mustang. The Mustang brand has undergone many style changes over the decades, but they pretty much all stand out for their vintage beauty, that was always in step with the times. The coat of paint on this one would help ensure that every other driver takes notice of it. Bright colors on cars aren't suited for everyone but a good argument could be made for their usefulness as a safety feature.
7. Midnight Blue Ford F-100 Truck
No Ford list would be complete without at least one of their legendary pickup trucks. This Midnight Blue F-100 is probably very close to what any random person would imagine if you said pickup truck. The metallic color just makes this classic all the better.
8. Copper Orange Ford Mustang
The bright Easter-themed colors featured on this list are eye-catching all on their own, but it's interesting to see how a model like the Ford Mustang can still draw attention, no matter the color. This copper Mustang is an '05 model, and the paint and body style are going to make it the center of attention at almost any parking lot or intersection.
9. Bright Caramel Fox Ford Mustang
Here's another Ford Mustang - this time from the oh so 1980s Fox generation. No matter the decade or prevalent style, the Ford Mustang evolved to be with it. This caramel tinge is one of the most Easter-themed ever offered on this era pony car.
10. Candy Red Ford Thunderbird
Who doesn't have a shameless love for the vintage American cars of the 1950s golden era of styling?. The candy red color manages to strike the rare balance between bright festivity and real elegance, while looking like a Jolly Rancher candy. These cars may be more cruiser than sports car, but it is still perfect for a Sunday drive, whether it is to an Easter parade or not.
