This was why the engine would only turn a partial revolution. Also found broken rings and damaged pistons in other cylinders. New standard pistons, rings and rod bearings were installed after honing cylinders to clean up the walls. Surprisingly cylinder walls were not in bad shape and main bearings were also OK.
