Here is how I ran my 3G upgrade. This is the first modification on this truck since I bought it. The two wire plug runs the yellow wire to the horn and the green/red wire runs to the 3G plug. I ran the yellow wire to the back of the alternator where I connected a 6 gauge wire. The 6 gauge runs through the 175 amp fuse to the positive side of the solenoid.
