I installed a clear filter and applied vacuum until filled to prime the line. The fuel in the filter, I think, will indicate that the fuel line has not gone empty due to air intrusion. Plus, this gives me a filtered port to tap from if I ever need fuel in the future. If I need to drain the separator, I can apply vacuum to this tap to prime my lines.
