Positive Post - Big Truck Benefits
So my truck in my sig went in for 50K service, some recalls, and a few little issues. Been a great truck and I have a really good local dealership.
The gave me a free loaner which is a brand new Bronco Sport. Honestly its not a bad ride for a young family etc.
Weather yesterday was crazy. Massive rain, wind, flooding etc. I forgot just how incredible my truck handles these kinds of conditions. In the Bronco I was getting blown all over the road and hydroplaning on every puddle.
There's no substitute for wheelbase and weight in these conditions. I calculated that I could put this Bronco in the bed of my truck and still have 2000# of payload remaining.

LOL. Yeah, we have an actual Bronco (not the Sport)...and my wife affectionately calls it 'the Amazon Box.' It's small, but comfy (for a 2-door off-road vehicle), plenty of power with the V6...but a good stiff cross-breeze blows it around if you're not paying attention.
But man is it fun to take the roof panels off, put the windows down, and blast down a highway at 55-60.
