Ordered 3 F450s from 3 different dealers to see which ones com first.

Have 2 '26 450s built today that will be here way quicker.

Haven't had the guts to order the new blue. I really like it though.

Didn't we just discuss not having this kind of thread by year and lumping together by the gen? lol

Most guys replace their trucks every 5 years or so. There are certain people in the 2024 thread that aren't in the 2026 thread.

Keeping it separated by year prevents wasted time doodling around one big modge podge thread.

Everyone's habits are different. I don't wast time scrolling through a thread. The most I do is look and what is in the current thread. If people want to talk to me directly, they usually sent a pm.

The nice thing about Ford-trucks is there is something for everyone. Let the doodlers doodle.

This. But some people clearly did not read nor understand the assignment.

Correct. Which is why helpful/useful data gets lost too easily--even though it would benefit more than just 1 MY.

Quite the opposite. It actually increases the time, because now you have 6 different threads to sift through to find all of the info/data about mods, upgrades, etc. It's naive to think that the sum total of all the info you could ever want, will just be in a single MY thread.

Then don't. That's what the search function is for. The people who are checking this forum daily/weekly, will not find 1 thread with multiple updates to it--to be cumbersome. Everyone else, should really just be searching for particulars.

look….just because you feel something is more right then another doesn’t make it “the way” for everyone. What I like about FTE is that it is pretty laid back most of the time. If your “gen” thread takes off then fine, but don’t castrate another member because he is “competing” with you. You are new here with your 99 posts. Just relax.

This whole "free love" concept around "What I did to my xxxx..." Just waters down information. At its core a 27 is not much different between a 23. Sure, some stuff no longer exists, but I doubt someone does something to a 27 that someone with a 23,24,25, or 26 does not want to do; or, at least may be interested to read about. Keeping these by year threads going, now we have a new one for 2027, seems silly to me.

Dons fire-retardent suit for all the "Let everyone create the thread they want" replies.

When I bought my 2026 this April I thought “it’s pretty damn stupid that there is a 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026 thread”. It’s the same damn truck.
