New Rim Options

Opinions please. Looking to upgrade rims on my wife’s truck. Was thinking about going to 16’s with some 33’s.
So hard to tell by looking at pictures, what may look good when installed.
Here’s two I’ve found so far.
Thoughts? Send me pics of what ya’ll have too.
Thanks

I thought long and seriously about those, but in 15x8 to wrap 31x10.5-15s around. They look great.

In the end, I kept steel 15x8 wheels with 10 "D" shape holes, and I used chrome steel lug nuts and deep dish stainless steel rings and stainless steel centers.

I know, not for everyone, but they work for me and the SS doesn't water spot. I use short valve stems and only the caps stick out, and I carry a 3/8" nut driver to remove the sunk valve caps.

out of those 2 choices, I'd go with the 1st...American racing outlaw II style

question is...what does the wife like? as it is her truck.
When I hunt for wheels, I do a search and look at the images till I find something. Or i see what's available in the size i want and go from there.

I like us mag wheels, or i think mickey Thompson makes similar. the old steel wagon wheels are a classic and similar to tbear's. I'd even do the steel version of the first wheel you posted. I used to have those on My first 74 F250 when I was 16.

I am leaning towards the first one’s. I showed her and she said she doesn’t care, so no help at all lol

You laugh now but it's a trap.

She'll stew over this decision for weeks, maybe months, but most likely years. Make a comment about wheels on a different vehicle or mention different wheels for this vehicle in the future and you'll not stop hearing about the choice you made for her......even though the facts stated and presented in divorce court show she said, "I don't care."

Well, I couldn't decide either, I have both.🤣 I know these aren't dent sides but at least the 65 is on a 78 chassis.😉 Those are 17" with 33's on the 65 and 15" with 31's on the 81. Both are American Racing. The Baja would look more like the one you pictured if I'd gone with a different offset/back spacing. Good luck to you.

I have 16x8 w/33's on my 77 F150, these are the older MT's, wish I would have bought another set of them! If (When really lol) I'm going to buy new rims for my 63, I'm going with these... best looking wheels ever made, now you don't have to buy 16.5's to fit on them!!
