Heavy loads on closed tailgate?
My previous truck was a steel body 2011 SD. I'm now in a 2026 Alumiduty. With my 2011, I used to load up multiple sheets of 4x8 plywood and MDF and leave them leaning on the closed tailgate so as to not have to worry about them sliding out of the bed. Should I be concerned with doing this (leaning hundreds of pounds on the closed tailgate) now with the Alumiduty? Anyone have any first hand experience putting similar loads on the closed tailgate of the new Alumidutys?
