Mike - just a thought. Why not start one thread to house any B.A.T. vehicles you want to advertise on here. You could call your new thread something like
B.A.T.Mobiles
That way there is an easy method to read about all the fun in one place...
The truck's a decent driver but that paint? It needs to be either all brown or all tan. I'm not a fan of the soft topper either.
I saw that a couple days ago and almost made a post about it and chose not to. But since you did i will tell my reaction to it. I almost threw up. I also agree with TA's suggestion. Then we could all use it to show one that comes up.
I added a comment to this auction - probably get flagged as 'not constructive' but the build sheet shown for it is for a 120" wheelbase F11 - F100 4x4 with a J engine (223 or 240) with a different VIN. Seat likely swapped in from another truck since the build sheet seems to have lived under that seat it's life to the point it was removed.

I got dizzy, then almost chucked... lol!
Yes, I agree, the B.A.T.Mobiles, or the B.A.T.Trucks, or BATTeRucks
Oh yeah, and Thanks @Iowa Mike for reminding be about BAT now I waste at least 20 mins a day perusing it!
actually bid on a Ranger, then it blew up in $$, I figured as much.. Hmm... maybe I should throw Rosy on there..? Rosy, as in Rosarita refried beans my beaner van
1988 Aerostar, 3.0/4.10LS/96k og miles, bought her on a whim just cuz lol, my folks and grandparents had them once they no longer needed full-size vans for kiddos, fugly as can be but still cute
That's a great looking van! I had no idea that there was Eddie Bauer trim for those vans. Love the seats.
Thanks, researched it, found out 1988 was the first yr for the Eddie Bauer's in the Aerostar, she's super clean, will probably just register her Non-Op in Kali and run it around when I want, can't beat the proven classic's, last run to Napa for stuff.. (I spend quite a bit of $$ there lol) all the guys came out and were like, dude, that thing rocks. Went and grabbed all my door casings while I was redoing the flooring in the house while it was raining, slid it right in with the seats down (right before I took the pics) I have a collection of old Fords, so it'll probably stay in the fleet just cuz! They don't make the good stuff anymore!
Nice Aerostar! I was never a fan back in the days but now it's kinda cool. At the first shop I worked at they had one for a company beater, that sucker took a ton of abuse and kept on going.

We had one on the sod farm growing up, it was the "water van" and that poor thing always had hundreds of pounds of hoses and sprinklers in it, got ran through the fields, you name it, and also got used as a taxi when needed, just emptied out the crates of hoses, probably why I'm fond of them, they take a lickin and keep on tickin!
