Fuse Box Repair Kit
The junction block on the back of the headlight switch holding the fuses has all the fuse contacts rather corroded. Has anyone tried replacing the fuse contacts with a Fuse Box Repair Kit like that sold by several different vendors like Dennis Carpenter? Other than older wiring what are the pitfalls?

One pitfall of changing wiring is that the next guy has zero documentation on how to diagnose it. At least if it's stock you can buy the wiring diagrams and trace the factory wire colors; after adding new stuff, there is a large barrier for a future tech to ascend to try and figure out how it works, and there's no docs on what color wires are supposed to do what.
If you have nothing to work with, starting over makes sense, but speaking as someone who got paid very well to reverse-engineer systems with creative add-ons it a real PITA to have to start from scratch and write my own diagrams to troubleshoot when the original tech moved on ten years ago.
