I have relocated my gas tank outside of the cab and now have approximately a 3x2 oval hole in the cab floor where the lines passed through. Has anyone found a plug that fits this hole? I did not seal the hole prior to paint because my intention was to put a rubber plug in it, cut a hole in the plug and be able to use it as a way to run wires to the back half of the truck. I currently cannot find a plug for this hole, I also tried and old mustang trunk plug but it does not fit. Has anybody done this or know where I may find a rubber plug for the hole?
It's unlikely you'll find a rubber plug that exact shape and size. It would be easy, though, to cut a piece of sheet metal just larger than the hole, screw it in place with a couple of screws and some sealer, then cut a smaller hole in that for a grommet for your intended wiring harness to go through.

That may be the way I have to go. I kept trying different search criteria on Google and then finally Amazon and found this. I am going to give it a shot and see if it works else I will go the sheet metal route.
can't help with the plug but will vent here... If you're going to sell your product in the USA how bout showing the dimensions in Imperial numbers... either fractional or decimal
so I don't have to drag out my conversion chart then calculate... I'm too old for that
