just took ownership of this 1959 f 100 and trying to figure out what front end this is. Prior owner had the truck short term and all the mods were already complete so he didn’t have any more info.

Looks like a pre 79 Ford passenger frame grafted to the truck frame. It should drive nice. There are people dropping late 67-72 trucks on late CV frames.
I grafted a 92 CV front clip to my 67 XL.

Thanks for taking a look. The truck drives and handles very well. I was leaning towards CV but thought they were all rack and pinion. I am going to take a wheel off and see if I can get any part numbers on the caliper or spindle.
The rack and pinion CV started in 2003. Prior to that, they looked like what you have, back to the 60's. Way back in the day front clip grafts like this were done a lot. Chevelle and Camaro grafts were common, big Fords were done, too, but not as often. If it works and was well done, roll with it.
