yes, it is not that hard to do, but you will need shorter bolts. just unbolt and remove the lift "puck" i do front back. unbolt both rad supports, and remove the pucks. then move back to the cab. unbolt the fronts, and loosen the rear cab bolts . remove fronts and put bolts back in but loose. do rears, and tighten the cab down. the bed is the worse as there are either 6 or 8 bed mounts . the bed i just lift up and do all at the same time.
by doing the 2 rad support mounts, and then cab 2 mounts at a time makes it MUCH easier to keep things aligned.
i say replace the body bolts as most kits use cheap bolts. i use grade 8 bolts. last thing you want is a body bolt breaking in an accident and having the cab fall off the frame while you are in it. seen it happen too many times in my years on police and fire departments.

This reason is why I say that strictly for a safety and survival standpoint, Volvo is the best vehicle to buy hands down. It’s amazing the outcome between two vehicles and their crash ratings. Some things, don’t cheap out on. I’ve seen the results first hand.

After graduating from high school I worked as a petroleum transfer specialist at a local service station. The owner had a towing contract with the police for wrecks and broken down vehicles. I remember him bringing a Jeep (probably a YJ) back in two pieces. The body came off the frame in the wreck.
