Since we’re to far away to make it to the PA Truckstock, we had our own little version today: I visited Ingo, who lives only 20 minutes away from me. Enjoy the pics!
there’re not that many vintage Ford trucks here in our region. But we have a lot of other U.S. vintage car owners with Mustangs, Rancheros, Falcons, Mercurys and a lot of Chevys as well. This weekend the FoMoCo - community has a big car meeting in the north of Germany. I’ve been there twice before. Here some impressions:
Thanks for checking in, Rico! Good to see you again. I like your video. Every one of those old Fords (and Mercurys) were amazing. I'm always amazed to see so many American cars in Europe. I know their size, fuel economy and your tax structure over there don't always play well together. I'm glad you had such a nice day and beautiful location for your Truckstock!

Hi Wayne!
Yes, I`m still around ;-). I was very busy in the office and didn't have much time for the FTE-forum. We have a very large community for vintage US-cars here in Europe. In Germany the costs for tax and insurance isn't really that much. But of course the costs for fuel is somewhat skyrocketing during the last weeks. But since I don't drive the old cars and trucks not so often, it's still affordable .
Funny thing: When I visited Ingo we both agreed that it would be a big adventure and fun to put our two trucks into a container and have it sent to the U.S., so we could join you at the Central PA Truckstock - maybe some day...

Wow! What an adventure that would be!
But you can come to TS without your trucks. Many have done that. Guys do like to have someone riding shotgun.
And you would enjoy meeting the Amish. You might be able to converse with them as they speak Pennsylvania German or Pennsylvania Dutch as we say here. Pennsylvania Dutch is similar to Palatine German (Pfälzisch). And their worship services are in German.
