I have a 2025 F-150 Hybrid truck. Yesterday while driving to work I got a stop safely now warning on the instrument cluster. I finished my drive to work and shut down the truck. I went in to sign in to work. When I went back out to start the truck it would not crank over.
According to the Ford app this is what is happening. From the app: Your wrench icon (powertrain malfunction) warning is on due to a fault with the high voltage system. When this fault first occurs your vehicle may continue to be driven until the vehicle is turned off. After your vehicle is turned off the vehicle will not start.
What should I do? If your vehicle is still on you may be able to drive it to your destination. Once the vehicle is turned off, please contact Roadside Assistance as your vehicle will have to be towed to your preferred dealership.
I did contact Roadside Service and my truck was towed to the dealership where I leased the truck.
Still waiting to hear from them what is wrong. Has anyone else gone through this experience and if so what did they find to be wrong or cause the problem. The vehicle has miles on it at this time.
