1956 F100 horn button

I'm installing a new horn but when I twist and turn to install it doesn't seem to push down and no give in it. It's like it's on so tight and won't push down at all.

Any idea where to get a used one? Or maybe shave off with grinder to shorten?

That's the problem wirh aftermarket!!!

Thanks so much to bmoran4, it was the height. I shaved mine down 1/4" and it works beautiful.

To bigwin56f100. I'm sorry I didn't wait long enough to see you had old ones for sale. I'll check next time first. Thanks for your help!
