If anyone can suggest a fix for my 2014 F150 Supercrew Cab Lariat, having issues with interior lights and cab exterior lights stays on for a very long time before shutting off. And also my passenger rear door does not lock or unlock but by luck at times. To off I am also having issues with "Left and Right door ajar, alternatingly flashing on my dashboard until I press OK to each message, but both doors were close tight. Are any of these issues have any relations? Thank You ALL!
your truck thinks a door is open. hence the lights staying on 10 minutes until the battery saver circuit kills power. sounds like 2 doors at minimum
the door sensor is part of the latch. take a screwdriver and wd-40. spray the latch and try to flush it. cycle latch open/shut with screwdriver a few times. flush with wd-40. do this multiple times per latch. if you're lucky the sensor hasn't failed, it's just dirty. I've had great luck on many Fords with this trick
as for the lock, replace the lock solenoid. they're cheap (under $20). look for loose/pinched wires while in there.
