So much for not enforcing emissions laws

I am not agreeing or disagreeing with emissions laws and I don't want to start that debate. I just can't believe how overreaching our government has gotten.

I guess I will need to get my weed dealer, Cleetus, to order these for me from now on. Deliver them curbside to that old lady’s house up the street.

It'll end up in court, a civil rights violation case, right to privacy issue.

Im sure deep within the Apple and Google terms of use there is something that gives them a right to your information. Just like you can talk openly about something and when you open your phone you start getting targeted ads about it.

I don't see anything controversial, breaking the law isn't legal, if privacy is your plan to avoid accountability then you're admitting guilt.

I have an EZ Link that I have done nothing illegal with. So I automatically get lumped in to this. When does it stop and what's next? Maybe since you're ok with this you'll support local police departments getting your driving speeds and locations from Apple or Google and sending out tickets everytime you exceeded the speed limit by 1mph? You see where I'm going with this?

You are completely wrong on so many levels.

Since I dont like you now, I am going to get a job as a cop in your town and pull you over every time I see you and search your car.

Kidding, but this is what you are saying because I can find something illegal eventually. Guarantee it.

I would be willing to bet the majority wouldn't. I know NH just rolled back annual inspections but I think it is hung up in the courts right now. That said in some places it isn't that hard to beat the local inspections, the feds coming at you over the top is a lot harder to get around if they can get their hands on the user list.

Given how anti-EPA Trump is, it will be interesting to see where this goes.... if anywhere at all. That said, all bets are off come 2028.

I dont think Trump is anti EPA. They are just slowing down the craziness. A good example of craziness was not allowing Spirit to merge with anyone and these crazy unobtainable mpg rules for passenger cars/trucks.

They also can’t “Rollback” emissions rules. If your truck came with a DPF they arent going to go back to 2008 and change the law so you can take it off.
