As much as I would love to be able to drive my truck or Bronco IN the power tour. My rigs are not up to that level of road trippin. But I plan on going to the show at MSU (Missouri State University) during the Springfield Mo stop.

Me and my wife are doing the power tour for the 4th year,
If possible I would like to meet some of the FTE'ers
unless something happens along the way we will be there in this truck
Although last year we stopped in Missouri for something to eat, and some methhead readjusted my mirrors and tried to steal the sticker on the top of the windshield.
No I do not hold that against the good people of Missouri. I think it is a fun story to tell, what are you gonna do with a used sticker. SMH
Good looking truck you have there, long haul from Louisiana. I have the date on my calander and I will be looking for your truck.
Probably be wearing this and looking fwd to meeting fellow FTE members from outa state.

I will keep a eye out for you.
It seems like my memory says it was in Dexter, Missouri is where the feller tried to get the windshield sticker.
Every year it has been between 2,500 and 3,000 miles round trip.
Thanks about the truck.
Well that is NOT ME wearing that shirt, but a fellow Missouri chapter member. Dexter Mo, the place with the light house right beside 60 Hwy. I've been by that thing 1000 or more times. I use to travel across Hwy 60 all the time driving from Ft Campbell Ky to my folks place south of Branson. When I was on a 3 or 4 day weekend pass, while in the Army.
I will look for your truck, how many entries to the show do you think their will be? I plan on being there at 08:00 or so and start looking for ya. I migth have a few of these with me also.
There will probably be 5000 to 6000 cars go thru in a days time.
The venue won't open until 1100am and close at 500pm
I don't think there is any good way to see them all.
Wow what a # of vehicles, wonder why the on line info say 09:00? None the less I will be there and will look for your truck and hopefully we can cross paths.
Will do it one day as well! Going to the 100yr parade in Tulsa on 30th. Going to be nuts 4000+ vehicles lining up to set Guinness record. Wish me luck.🤪
I was pretty sure that was not a picture of you, but of the shirt.
The 9:00 am start time would be for Monday. The rest of the week is 11:00am to give them time to get the Midway setup.
A couple of years ago I tried to take a picture just to show the sheer volume of cars, but that picture didn't do it any justice.
I will look for the shirt.
We usually get to the venue a little early, we have to wait in line but typically get better parking.
Anybody know, or have a link of the route thru st louis and to the west? On leave for hand surgery, nothing better to do than watch thousands of cool rides roll by. Kinda like the dream cruise.
I must admit that I know little to nothing about this area. Which is one reason we enjoy doing the power tour. We see places that we otherwise would not see.
Good thing you are taking exit 82A (US 65 South towards Branson), because MODOT has been doing lane work on both sides of the interstate 44 (widening, and have been for quite a while). So just west or pass exit 82A and on west towards exit #77 can get a little one lane skinny and real slow for a bit. So is has been a little backed up if passing thru east or west on the north side of Spg via Interstate 44. I doubt by next month it will be any better.
Spg has...Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World (Springfield, MO) – Second Largest
Size: Nearly 500,000 square feet
Key Features: Known as the "Grandaddy of All Outdoor Stores," it is the national headquarters and features waterfalls, a massive aquarium, and a connecting 300,000-square-foot conservation museum and aquarium. FREE gun museum and NASCAR display.
Also Route 66 Museum is in town and (this is the last year it is going to be open) the owner is retiring and shutting it down). https://66carmuseum.com/
Thanks for the turn by turn, NOW I am going to have to find me a spot to see the vehicles coming into town. Exit 84 and right before exit 82 there is a giant Buc-ee's gas station on the right/North side of I44. Just have to figure out the right time to be there to see most of them drive by.
