On the 10R80 that piece on the magnet is usually one of three things: a broken snap ring fragment, a clutch return spring piece, or a bit of hardened steel from a bearing or gear thrust surface. The shape in your photo looks more like a stamped spring/retainer piece than normal fine “fuzz,” which is what makes it a bit more concerning than just break-in debris.
At 68k miles it’s not automatically catastrophic, but I wouldn’t ignore it. If it was just gray paste or fine sludge that would be normal wear. A solid chunk like that suggests something has started to mechanically fatigue inside the rotating assembly.
