Post Wide Belt or Narrow Belt System

I’m reading online and doing research also. Is this a narrow belt or wide belt system. Looking at alternator brackets for my 8BA motor.

Those are wide belts.

One example of narrow belts:

What is your engine using for crankcase ventilation? The place on your intake manifold below the generator where the road draft tube is supposed to be has a plug in it.

I’m putting in a PCV system, previous owner did that. Thanks for the reminder, I need to get parts on order for that.

IIRC belts come in different widths- I am not positive but I think a 3L belt is 3/8" 4L is 1/2. I remember those,-5/8 5L, maybe a 3/4 is 6L? ( that would be each "L" is 1/8"? )So if you need a 1/2" width 48" long belt it would be 4L48. ( actually seems like it was 4L480 so they have in 1/2" variations .) . Seems like that is how it works. Check a Grainger catalog, but make sure you buy belts for automotive use. If your belts are 3/8" I'll bet that is too thin.
