Front wheel spindle 4wd manual locking hubs

I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find this spindle. It's all that's keeping me from driving my truck right now. It's a 1987 Bigfoot edition 4wd with manual locking hubs. Even a part number would be much appreciated.

Last time I looked, the only option is to find one used. Car-part.com will let you search junkyards nationwide.

That would work if the OP had auto hubs in ‘87 through 88 -1/2. That is the same part listed for ‘89 and ‘93 and that there are two different size bearing journals. “Top Hat” hubs use the same bearing for the inner and outer.

why would a full size truck have the same spindle as a small truck / bronco II / ranger?

That's a good question. But the only thing I have found similar and it also says it was on the explorer so I guess we'll see when it comes in which I assume it will be too small but worth a shot for now.

We went over this type hub a few weeks ago there might be some answers in this thread that help you ... PS Ranger has a different bolt pattern for the wheels ... That hub won't work ... https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...150+front+hubs

Ok? There wasn’t a question about the hub. The OP is looking for a replacement spindle which was specific to that hub.

There is information about getting the kit to convert if a replacement cannot be found ... I also believe that the discussion about converting with junkyard parts is discussed ... Just trying to help ... If I'm out of line here have a mod delete my post
