Time for new injectors...need opinions/advice

My 2002 starts just fine but she is such a dog. I put an Adrenaline? HPOP on a few years ago to replace the original unit, a new turbo center section last year (helped at highway speeds) and Riff Raff up pipes.

I have (non functioning) Power Hungry tuner thang in the truck (need to diagnose it). I have in-line fuel filters and replaced the LPFP maybe 40k miles ago.

She has around 230k miles on the original injectors. I like preventive maintenance. I've done a lot of it. Practically everything other than motor has been replaced at this point.

Should I just default to FullForce?

I'm not interesting in making this clumsy old truck into some straight-line killer. Its just a work truck. I don't want to push the transmission harder than it can handle or get horrible MPGs. I just need her to run a little better off the line. She feels tired.

Call Rosewood. If you just want a little more goose maybe see about putting some stock/30's , it may not even need tuning.

I would start by fixing the Hydra issue. Tons of added pep right there. It may be all you need. You’ll need a functioning tuner anyhow if you go to single shot injectors.

I've been very happy with my rosewood injectors. You can give him a call and he will get you exactly what you need. Can't just buy injectors from him off website. You actually have to talk to him first so he can make sure you get what your after.

First, fix Hydra and see how you like it.
second, if needed, call Rosewood. Jim is the standard for 7.3 injectors, and has been for a long time. Don’t mess with anyone else

Well yes .. The Hydra took a dump a year ago plus. I do need to get her going again.

Is this the rosewood in question?

https://rosewooddieselshop.com/

Why is it the first time I'm hearing about rosewood?

Im gonna throw a vote on fixing the hydra, first. Followed by, if thats not enough, i didnt see a turbo on your list, id consider a balanced assembly from kc, or some other stock plus a little bit updates there, before i changed injectors.

Already did a kc turbo center section. Helped at highway speed but not enough at at lower speeds.

Thx for your thoughts. Appreciate you gents.

160/0 or 160/30 if you want a little more pep. Or just factory rebuilds. He will walked you through what you want in the phone and reccomend a size to you based on what you want to do with the truck.

Get the hydra functioning, then see if you still need more pep, if so, 160/0 is a good option.

Am I wrong to want to do some preventative maintenance on 22 year old, 230k mile injectors?

It all depends on how healthy the current ones are.
Many times parts swapping ends up in a rabbit trail instead of being preventative maintenance.

Drop if off at his shop and let him rebuild your original ones, if that's geographically possible. That's what I plan to do here before too long but he's only a couple hundred miles from me.
