I have a 2000 F150 7700 series extended cab pickup and am having a heck of a time finding a camper shell/topper that will fit. The bed sits approximately 5 inches lower than the regular 2000 F150, so the flare in the toppers get in the way. Neither Leer or A.R.E. shells seem to be fitted for the 2000 models. Anyone out there with a 7700 that can provide some guidance on where I might find one?

 

This shouldn’t be the case at all. The bed and cab line up the same for all 10th Generation F150s.

There is nothing different about a 2000 model dimensionally that is any different than a 97-03 F150. A 6.5’ or 8’ bed is the same on an either a 7700 model or otherwise. If I had a fleetside bed on my ‘03 and not a flareside bed, I could swap toppers to another 6.5’ bed with no issues.

 

why not just swap to a unmodified bed…
