$375. Each point is worth $.005.
Early on the dealers here would start the transaction in parts, then walk over to service to process transaction. At some point they changed and do it all at the parts counter. Either way, parts is where it starts.

I’ve only used my points for parts.
I order the part through the parts department.
When I pick up the part.
The parts department person goes to the service department person to complete the transaction.
I’m guessing the service department person isn’t making any money on the transaction because they don’t seem happy about having to do so.

If you want to buy accessories you can use them on the https://accessories.ford.com site. They usually have a 15-20% discount and will ship to your home for little to nothing. Ship to local dealer for free pickup. I’ve also found dealers will discount better that the accessories site once you let them know their price.
I have points from 3 recent purchases. You can also use them for down payment on new vehicle.

Two ways, I usually buy a new vehicle every year and I have a Ford pass Visa credit card.
Some of my larger "Free bees" is a roll up bed cover and 5th wheel package. Funny thing is a lost my Ford card, but I have it set up to pay some monthly recurring debt such as phone and cable bills. My other half has one is my name but I don't encourage use of it, she thinks credit cards are free money.

I just bought a bug shield online yesterday from Fairway Ford with points. Fast, easy and shipped to my door.
My one and only experience with a local dealer and points in 2020 was not great. They wore a path into the tile walking back and forth between parts and service trying to figure out what to do. And this place had a catalog in their waiting room for accessories that could be bought with the points.
accessories.ford.com was about useless. Search using the correct part number or "bug shield", "hood protector", etc. and the site pretty much says nothing is available for Super Duty. Super Duty is not listed at the top of the page as pictured below. The Accessories tab nets nothing for Super Duty.
I put in an inquiry on Fairway's website and had a reply within 90 minutes. They got the sale.

My FIL has gotten a LOT of stuff with his points over the years, our local dealer is small enough still that the parts counter can create service invoices (I mean it's a combo Ford/Ram dealer). He's used some points for parts, others for service, and hasn't had issues with either.
Still convinced they somehow used my wife's Ford Points (that she got when she bought her F150 then never used) to put running boards on her new Ram, but I can't prove it.

I went straight to the parts department. Even paid the overage at parts. Never once talked to service.
