In my 2024 Lariat (Ultimage Package) I do not see the Zone Lighting screen within the "Features" tab of the Sync 4 system. Is this an F150-only feature?

I don't see anything under Vehicle settings, the Features tab or even a mention of "zone" anything in the electronic user manual. Strange

i believe so, i will check. i do know it is on the right side of the screen if i scroll through. yes truck has pro power

 

My truck is a 24 Lariat Ultimate and does not have Pro Power. I do have zone lighting and it is accessed under the "Features" tab.

Damn, this is so strange. Why would my 24 Lariat not have that Zone Lighting software option? I don't have Pro Power Onboard but it seems that plenty of other Lariat owners, both with and without Pro Power, have the Zone Lighting feature.

Makes me wonder what other features might be mysteriously "missing". No software updates are avalable, I just don't see how this is possible.

Yes, absolutely sure.

 

Sync 4 system claimed I had no software updates available. Talked to Sync support and they told me that I would need to set up a "Recurring Schedule" check in the settings for the software to be automatically checked and downloaded. Couldn't get them to confirm if my Lariat was running an old version of the Sync software and, if that was the case, if that potentially explain the Zone Lighting feature not being present.

Basically, I am going to have to wait a day or two now that I have set a Recurring Schedule for software update checks to see if any updates download, install and resolve the issue. I will update.

 

My 24 Lariat Ultimate 450 is a week old and I haven’t really played around much with the various setting and features and such, but today after I refueled it I was trying to reset the trip A data and saw a zone lighting section in the right hand pane section shown above while scrolling through the pages there. Maybe check there to see if that’s where ours are now located.
I’m not even totally sure exactly what zone lighting is.

 

For all of you Lariat owners with the Zone Lighting option within Features, I was wondering what version of Sync software you are (General > About Sync).

I have had a daily recurring schedule set for to check for and install software updates but have yet to receive an update or the Zone Lighting feature.

Also realizing that I'm missing another software feature. I have OnBoard Scales and there is no button on the Feature page to turn on/off the tail light scale. Not that I desperately need this feature but I'm just concerned about exactly what software configuration this truck came installed with because it doesn't seem to match the features that I ordered.

Realizing now that my non-LED taili lights likely prevent me from having that particular functionality associated with OnBoard Scales. I wish that would have been pointed out to me before ordering the option on my Lariat.
