He arrived !!! so I will put here all the work I do on it. For a few months there won't be much because I have a RENAULT ESTAFETTE pick-up to finish before tackling the main part of the F100 but there will perhaps be some tinkering from time to time in parallel with the work on the 'Estafette.
Everything else is in these beautiful shelves in the garage, Instig sorry but I don't understand the French translation of your message, it is in primer, its final color will in principle be the original, blue.
And this truck was sent to Germany as soon as it was manufactured to supposedly be used at an airport, perhaps it belonged to the army? Hence this plate on the engine

Adeleandre,
NICE LOOKING TRUCK!
What was meant was if that near white was to be the final color, it would "shine" through the grill and the details of the grill would be difficult to determine. Many repainters will pant the core support a flat black to allow the grill accent to be seen.
Scan the pictures of many similar trucks and you will see what is meant when you see one with the light color behind the grill versus a dark/.black core support.
Good Luck and keep us posted with your progress, my Friend!

Ah OK ! Understood I have already heard of this technique!
Do you know how to check if this truck was the prize of the US military? because I have the small DATA plate from the glove box but I also have another larger plate which was on the passenger door on which it says "US PROPERTY", with a contract number and a federal stock number, I think does this mean that it was the property of the American state? And there is this mark on the plate, I wonder if it's not the US Air Force ? =

After research, next to Kaiserslautern indicated on the plate on the engine, there is an American air base in Ramstein, so I think that the truck came from there and belonged to the air force.
