They are different, the bolt hole pattern is different and the 08-? Has a dimple in the middle.
2005-2007 notice the three holes on the right and two on the left and no dimple in the center.
2008- 20?? Notice the two bolts on the right, one in the dimple in the middle and two on the left. Also in 08 Ford moved the brake line mount from the spring bucket to the frame.
Hope this helps, not sure if anything dimensions wise changed between the two but if your needing to replace yours just get the correct year and you will be good.
