Mustang wheels have a lot of offset from the center or a whole lot of backspacing. As a result, they will not fit on your Ranger without interference with items like the frame and stabilizer bars on the front and on the back, the inside of the box fender wells Find a friend with a Mustang and borrow one wheel and tire for a quick trial before you purchase a set.

update, I found a set of mustang rims from a 2003 gt. there is a very slight interference on the bottom shock bolt. hits the nut only, and just on the points of the nut. will radius the nut and should be fine. the tires on the rims will hit the front sway bar, only at full lock, and only a little bit. the tires I plan to use are narrower, and should clear ok.

dose anybody know if I can use a set of 2004 mustang gt 17 inch rims on my 94 ranger? I know I will need to adjust the spedo, just curious if they will bolt on.
FYI: I tried bigger tires on a 95 4-banger; standard that I owned but it had zero power on hills.
