Driver side dash squeaks and squaks 96 f-250

There is Styrofoam under the bottom panel and it can contact some wires and gives a squeak constantly.

And if the driver's side is constructed the same as the passenger side, you may get lucky and just have to tighten some mounting bolts. If you're lucky that is!
I friend had an earlier model ('90 I think?) that literally broke the right side mounting bracket. If it had broken completely, you'd know about it, as the dash would fall about 2" or so! But if it's just cracked or loose, you'd get some squeaks.
Hopefully your squeak is more benign.
Like timbersteel was asking, can you pinpoint it some more? Since you said it's not loose, then the main bracket is probably not the culprit. And plastic-on-plastic sounds are often from the instrument cluster surrounds and small panels and where they rub on the dash proper.
I've seen (well heard) squeaks happen on the little decorative panels for switch covers, or the instrument cluster surround. Hard plastic on hard plastic isn't always the quietest.
Good luck.

My problem was with the (passenger side) kick panel rubbing up against the door panel. Make sure the kick panels are in their proper location (as far forward as possible). You may need to use a slightly bigger fastener if the screw hole has elongated. You could actually see the small area where the two panels were rubbing. What made it hard to track down was that the sound seemed to be emanating from the middle of the dash pad. HTH
