what is the best brand of oil for 2017 6.2 gas f350

Pretty much all oils on the market should be fine. Choose one that you like and stick with 5w-30 as the manual states -- at least while under warranty. I myself will go for full synthetic instead of the blend at my first oil change. If memory serves me correct, 7500 mile OCI are standard and 5000 mile OCI is for severe duty.

There is no "best" oil that you'll be able to find. To declare something "best" with real tangible data would take FAR, FAR more time and money than you have.
Luckily, there are a LOT of very good oils out there that will all do a fantastic job. And lube that carriers the Ford spec (or is made for the application and would meet/exceed it) will be just fine.
You can use a "syn" fluid if you like, but many conventional oils meet the same Ford spec as the super-duper expensive ones.
Honestly, you care more about it than your engine ever will. Pick what makes you happy and sleep well. It won't make a hoot of difference in engine wear rates.

That said, the general rule for selecting oil is to find one that meets your engine needs and stick with it. Don't switch from brand to brand. While various brands of oil meet the same spec, they are not the same formula and may or may not interact well. If you want to distinguish one oil from another you'll have to spend 10's of thousands of dollars running highly controlled experiments.

Is there a reason for not using Motorcraft oil? Around me it can be bought at Autozone, Advanced Auto, and likely other places. Before the days of Ti-VCT I'd say pick your favorite oil that meets your spec but now I go with Motorcraft unless there's a reason to use something else. It was supposedly tested in the 6.2. Today's engines and trannies are complex enough without using an oil that may or may not be fully vetted in your car/truck.

There are LOT of lubes that meets the Ford spec (WSS-M2C-946A) for 5w-30.
Motorcraft lube is typically made by Conoco. Good stuff, but not magical, as many others are just as good.
Do not get wrapped up on what is conventional, semi or full syn. Any lube that meets the Ford spec is good stuff. There are several conventional lubes that meet the same strict requirements as the full syns.
